Community relations

TV Licensing works with hundreds of organisations across the UK to ensure licence fee payers are supported with information about when a licence is needed, the concessions available and manageable ways to pay.

We work with community organisations including groups for older people, people with disabilities, money advice, housing and multilingual groups to achieve this.

We provide a range of resources to ensure advisers are up to date and have access to everything they might need to help them support those who find it more difficult to stay correctly licensed.

Vulnerable customers. TV Licensing recognises that some people are vulnerable due to their personal circumstances. As we have contact with almost every address in the UK, it is important that we make reasonable adjustments and provide additional support when required to enable us to interact appropriately with vulnerable customers.

Our vulnerable customers policy describes our approach towards these customers and how we support them.
